<p>Healthcare is now mandatory for all UC students. However, they will allow you to waive USHIP if your current health insurance provides you with a comparable insurance plan. The easiest way to waive it is to fill out the waiver form online (should be on your portal but you can google it) or you can go to the health center and fill out the forms with someone there.</p>
