<p>The deadline hasn’t passed for Fall 2009 semester, your link is referring to the Spring 2009 deadline. You will get a health insurance waiver form at orientation - it was either at the financial aid session or health center session that they passed it out - and it will be available online later this summer.</p>
<p>You will pay the “Health Center Fee” of $220 each semester even if you are able to waive health insurance - all students must pay that fee. The Student Health insurance if you are unable to waive it was $324 Fall semester and $611 Spring semester. (The Spring semester is more because it extends through the following summer.)</p>
<p>So it is definitely worth it to see if you are eligible to waive the health insurance for a savings of $935 per year.</p>
<p>The deadline last year was the first week of September.</p>
