Health insurance?

My understanding is there are two different health insurance fees. First, you have to pay the student health fee which allows you to use student health services on campus. If you have major medical insurance coverage from your parent(s), bring proof of the coverage (need a letter, insurance card) to USC student health. USC student health has a review process of your coverage. If you are covered with your parent(s), you will save the thousand or so dollars. If you are not covered and cannot show proof of coverage, you have to pay for the USC medical coverage. Also, look up the dental/orthodontal plans if that applies to you.
