<p>I will check with the student health center tomorrow and let you know. I really doubt they’d make her come early for this purpose. Because you live outside the US, your daughter would be welcome, but not required, to attend international student orientation. Even though she’s a US citizen, we know that lots of TCK’s don’t feel particularly “American” and appreciate this opportunity. It also gives them a few extra days to acclimate and get settled before all the chaos of the school year begins. I’ll let you know about the TB screening tomorrow. </p>
<p>For others who are out there reading this, UR does require the menigitis vaccine for all incoming students as well. If you are decided on UR, you might beat the rush to your doctor’s office for this since lots of colleges require it. </p>
