I JUST GOT ACCEPTED TO UCF YEAHHHH!!! :D

I sent in my application earlier today and I’m curious how long it takes until i’m able to look at the status on myucf. I tried to log into it, but it’s not letting me in. Does it normally take a while until you’re able to?

they send you the info in about 3-5 days usually

Saber-Yay! Congrats! I’m so happy for you, because you really deserved it:) You’ll do great at UCF. Summer or fall acceptance? I just received my official acceptance letter today!

Congrats saber :):)

Write, who did you email and what exactly did you say ?

I really need to know where I’m going before winter.

Congrats Saber… could you tell us how long it took to get a response and what your stats are. It might give hope to those who are still waiting. Thanks.

My d went on ucf official class of 2016 fb page- when do we start picking roomates she wants to know she is from PA

My son just got into UCF for Fall 2012!! Yay!! I thought for sure he would be offered summer. Nice surprise!

He had a 24 ACT (26 English/26 Math/24 Science/24 Reading)
3.8 GPA
Two Years Swimming on school swim team
Two years swimming for a swim club team.
50 Hours Volunteer.

I think housing apps open up in the coming weeks. I believe that there, she can request room mates as well as room preferences

I received admission for summer. When the housing apps come up do I choose both summer as fall housing or do I just complete it for summer?

Thank you everyone lol. @WRITEfluidity: Tyvm haha, I applied for summer term

And to those still waiting to hear back: Hang in there. Make sure ALL of your transcripts and test scores have been sent. If you took dual enrollment, make sure the college transcripts with your dual enrollment classes are sent. Keep focusing on your classes and try to get your GPA and rank up. And focus on test scores if you haven’t already.

Patience is key and once you are accepted, the feeling is simply so amazing :)

@savertooth congrats! Is UCF your first choice?

Sabertooth*

Sabertooth- I’ll see you there! Feel free to add me on facebook, considering everyone who’s been accepted for summer basically are adding each other. Promise I’m not a stalker:)

Kyle,

My son was accepted for Summer 2012 also(he joined the FB official 2016 page, I am trying to get him to log on here so he can talk to some of his fellow collegemates before he goes). I contacted admissions and they said that he would need to apply for both-I think summer is $100.00 and fall is $250.00 as a deposit. Also, I found out that he needed to complete both FAFSA’s-summer falls under this year, so he had to turn in a FAFSA for 2011-2012, then will have to do one for 2012-2013

Question for everyone:

On the application status page where it says congratulations and that he was accepted for fall, there is an “accept” or “decline” button. Does he only accept once he decides that’s where he is going for sure. Is that to pay the tuition deposit? I’ve never seen this before.

@JGCMom

Thank you for helping me with this. So I have to complete to FASFAs and I payed the deposit which I believe was $200. What does that count towards bc you said $100 is for summer and $250 is for Fall.

@Kyle013194

Yeah lol, but my parents want me to wait until all of the colleges I applied to give out decisions before I do anything else. I respect my parents desires, thus I will wait until all colleges I applied to give out decisions.

I’m hyped to the max for UCF though. I have done A LOT of research about the university and I know the programs, clubs, and internship opportunities that I am interested in :)

@Kyle013194

Sorry, I probably wasn’t really clear. You have to pay seperate housing deposits- a $100.00 deposit for summer, and then a seperate $250.00 for fall. (I am pretty sure those were the amounts, I have the email at work) Since you don’t stay in the same room straight from summer to fall, you have to make two different housing requests. Hope that makes sense.
