Okay. Sorry for asking, I just need to construct a plan for the next month for myself once I get my books.

I currently have my PR Cracking The Act from last year, I’ve done a few sections but I haven’t read the book… Do you recommend I read the book first or wait until I get the red book or Barron’s to read those first?

I think whatever you feel comfortable. Go ahead and read PR if you want to. It’s an easy read. The Red book doesn’t give you in depth review, but it does show you different level of difficulties of the questions. Barron has the most detail and requires time to go through the entire book.

Okay, so tomorrow I am going to Barnes and Noble to get either Barrons 36 or The Red Book. Does it matter if I haven’t scored in the 30’s to use Barrons? Because on the forums people are saying that Barrons is mainly for those who have high scores and want to get the perfect score.

Don’t worry about what people say on this forum. They are just giving you advice. Prep books are for everyone, only you know what you need. Sounds like you are really worry, so I would recommend start studying today. I think you will like Barron, but don’t get discouraged from their practice exams if you get low scores. I don’t know why they make the tests so hard. I also suggest to wait a couple of weeks before you take the practice exams from the Red book. Do the prep first then you will have a good idea where you stand. Good luck.

I ended up getting Barron 36 because it goes in depth compared to the red book. However, there’s only 1 practice test in the book :/
