<p>I think being in the 20% might hurt you. It’s kinda hard to say though, seeing as I don’t know how competitive or rigorous your “super-competitve, public school” is. </p>
<p>Your weighted GPA might just kill you though. At first, I thought that was a decent GPA, but then I realized that it was weighted. Once again, it’s hard to really chance you, seeing as I don’t attend your school, but at my public school in CA, which is pretty competitive too, it’s not unusual to see students with 4.4+ weighted GPAs. It’s good that you have an upward trend, but honestly, in my opinion at least, it’s better to start with a good trend. It’s like the difference between having a C during all of first semester and having to work your way up to an A and having a steady A all semester. </p>
