Help Assess My Situation: Doing EXTREMELY Badly

What I think an adcom would see is someone who still does not have his academic life in order.

What is your culmulative GPA between the two schools?

I don’t know enough about SUNY or URochester’s admissions process, but it seems to a layperson that between the culmulative GPA (probably around a 2.0?) and the blinding wash of Ws (11!) and 4 more Fs at your current school, that the overall picture is not good.

You probably need to apply somewhere where you meet the minimum GPA and there is no comprehensive review… because your academic profile does not seem to indicate (yet) that you are ready to succeed at a four year college.

My recommendation is to keep going to CC until you have proven to yourself (and the adcoms) that you can focus on school. If you don’t get into your transfer school this round, you may want to take a 1 or 2 year break to work fulltime. That will look good on your transcript, be a good essay topic, and will give you more time to mature and reflect why after all these semesters you still are not being serious abut 90% of your classes about basics like attendance.
