<p>You don’t have to demonstrate an interest in science to be pre-med as reesespeices suggested. Harvard accepts you to Harvard College, and once there you can concentrate in anything you want to. Medical school, on the other hand, will want to see your interest in science and medicine before accepting you, but you still don’t have to be a science concentrator to demonstrate that. </p>
<p>It’s fine that you think you want to go to Harvard, but I would advise that you relax and come up with alternative plans. My kid always wanted to do well in school and loved her ECs but she never really thought about Harvard until she was a junior. I think that’s a more typical story of admitted students than that of the kid whose mission in life since the 7th grade was to go to H.</p>
