<p>Pending finding something in the mail when we get back to Massachusetts on Sunday, we are surprised that D was not offered anything. This is based on niece’s profile who received, what was probably then, the Dean’s scholarship and that D has received $22,000/year to WPI. I know that a merit scholarship was going to move Brandeis right up the list at her decision time. Without, it will be the same or higher cost than the other schools that she will be considering and these other schools are not making the newspaper every week for financial problems that may ultimately affect my D’s education. Whatever it is it is. I’m not going to worry about it too much anymore.</p>
<p>OMT Collegebound - we also submitted the CSS on-time. My only reason for including that comment was because admissions emphasized the point. The was it was stated to me, I am guessing that they get lots on complaints from people who are unaware and do not submit the CSS. It sounded like there first line of defense when answering questions on merit scholarships.</p>
