<p>My husband really never took much vacation for many years. He very much enjoyed the trips we have taken since I retired…and has not said no to any! Now…the remodeling…well…I just get it done. He was totally on board with the counters and appliances. After 19 years, we could use new carpet too. And our wood floors need refinishing. </p>
<p>Given the choice of remodel or vacation…I would choose vacation.</p>
