<p>We had a breakthrough yesterday. My D was finally able to get the name and address of the girl from an acquaintance. It seems now that this will all be taken care of through the girl’s car insurance. Unfortuately for the girl she has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident. Again, thank-you for all your advice. It meant a lot to me to be able to ask all of you for your thoughts on this.</p>

<p>Good outcome! This will teach the girl that having an accident is bad luck, but leaving the scene of an accident is a crime. Your D will have learned from this who her real friends are (not this girl) and who is a responsible, trust-worthy individual (not this girl).</p>
