I recommend taking a look at Denison University in Ohio. They have an excellent Health, Exercise and Sports Science (HESS) major and a strong XC/track team. Also a terrific PT/Sports Medicine team that works with the athletes and can provide opportunities for internships, student jobs, etc. My son graduated last year with a double major in HESS and psychology (plans to become a sports psychologist) and couldn’t have had a better experience.
If he is interested in PT I recommend visiting Delaware.
