Got 3 suits today at K and G. Got a great salesperson who got my H fitted from head to toe . Buy one, get two free suits. Got navy, black and medium blue lightweight for summer. Got new shirt, tie, pocket square and new shoes. We are set, as long as alterations come through on time !

Glad to see this thread, as DH tried to put on his only suit to wear to a wedding recently and discovered there was no way the pants would zip! Luckily his dark grey dress pants and navy blazer still fit, and as the wedding was outdoors, probably better to be less formal anyway. But he needs one workable suit, so a-shopping we will go!
I’m still kicking myself. Gave 35-40 pure silk pocket squares to Goodwill about 3 years ago when I retired. Unlike suits, blazers, slacks, etc., you cannot outgrow them and the colors and patterns don’t go out of style. My son loves pocket squares and he would’ve proudly worn them. Fortunately, I kept my ties, most of which are 4" or less in width, that he wears. Ladies, don’t let your guys wear an old tie (or shirt, or shoes, for that matter) with his new suit! Oh, and if any of you are traveling to Thailand in the near future, get a couple of them made over there. Two, custom made Super 120s (or higher) wool suits, fully lined, you pick the fabrics… $300-$350-- depending on shop and fabric-- for both! My son paid $129 and $139 for his when he was there last year.
