Help me find some matches?

This is why it’s great that you’re starting now. You have plenty of time to research the many great schools that are Questbridge partners, in addition to others that aren’t.

There is no earthly way that Stanford is the only school on the QB list that’s worth ranking in the Match process, if you qualify as a finalist. Sure, you can always rank it as your first choice… but you get to rank twelve schools. You don’t have to choose that many, but if there’s only one that you’d be truly happy to get a Match offer from, that just means you don’t know enough about the other 44 Partner Schools. (Also keep in mind that a Match offer is financially better than almost any school’s normal need-based financial aid.)

Questbridge has a program for HS juniors, called the College Prep Scholars program. It includes lots of guidance on the college application process, fully-funded summer programs on partner school campuses, campus visits, cash grants to support your application process, and more. The application opens in February and is due in March. This could be a great opportunity for you, and it doesn’t constrain what you decide to do in terms of your applications in any way.
