You live in St. Louis, your wrestle 145, and you’re being recruited by top 10 programs. you’ve basically revealed your identity to college adcoms.

Not really. Quite a few of us are top recruits.

ksafdjakdfjdjfjdk

haha no you basically did lol

Thanks for posting in my thread and refusing to give advice millhouse.

wow someone’s a bit cranky… washu for academics and quality of life (there you go. happy?) wrestling is’nt everything

isn’t 10 char

“You live in St. Louis, your wrestle 145, and you’re being recruited by top 10 programs. you’ve basically revealed your identity to college adcoms.”

No because Missouri has 4 classes of wrestling. 145 this year is loaded with about 3 of the 4 state champions are from St. Louis.

Go to one of your favorites, Kenyon… Lords and Ladies or WashU… Bears.
They’re both good schools, I think you should be where you would like to be, because even though Northwestern has D1 wrestling, you may feel pretty unappreciated here because we have a hard time getting people to watch football. This year was kind of an exception
but really I’ve never heard of wrestling being mentioned even once.

Anyway, so what is the story behind your mascotting? Do you do this in real life conversation? :D

I’d say look at The University of Chicago as well. Great academics, great athletic facilities.

Somehow I can’t quite put wrestling and U of C together :D

haha. I wouldn’t put Uchicago or sports together at all.

With that said, the school has top-notch facilities for serious athletes. Even though their teams are not the best, it’s well worth the offset considering their academics.

And if you like Macalester’s location, Uchicago’s location is very similar.

UChicago doesn’t have wrestling, but thanks for the advice.

I do the mascots in everyday life, people don’t get mad they are impressed.

Wrestling is an unappreciated sport in the first place, so I don’t care about fan turnout.

Thanks for all the help!

bump bump bump

Thanks for the advice everybody.

bump 10char

Why don’t you consider other D1 schools for wrestling, you only have mentioned a few. Are you looking for a specific part of the country?

I agree with mm99. There are lots more schools in the midwest that have D1 Wrestling. Also many D3 schools are more competitive than some D1s. Use the College Board search tool to come up with a big list then look at each school on the list until you find a couple more. There is a school out there that you will be happy at both academically and athletically, you just have to look deeper.

Good Luck!
