<p>It’s also a big reason why PCs tend to have more technical issues than Macs. When you get a Mac from Apple, you’re getting a system optimized to work on specific hardware. Windows is optimized to work on any machine; however, it’s a little bit of a mystery bag that can cause compatibility issues in some (albeit increasingly rare) cases.</p>
<p>Disregarding money… out of your 3 choices, I would go with the MBP 13’'. It’s a nice sweet spot and it seems like you won’t be piloting a satellite with your laptop… In my opinion I think an 11 inch screen on the Alienware is too small for daily college use. The specs on that Alienware m11x are nice though!</p>
<p>The Qosmio is way too big. Delete that from your list.</p>
<p>All those computers listed will do what you need it to do. If you have the cash to get a spec’d out mac then do it if you feel like you need it. If you don’t then go with a good reliable PC brand otherwise if you need raw power. Don’t let people preference towards one OS sway your opinion.</p>
<p>All operating systems have there pros/cons, up to you to decide.</p>
