Help w/ Freshman year schedule?

@TheInstitute So… I’m confused

Why are you worried about your ACT score if already accepted? Med schools don’t care about your high school scores, just the MCAT and your undergrad GPA.

You can test out of Calc at IU by taking the departmental final. If you get a solid B on the test, you get full credit for M211 with a ‘S’ grade on your transcript (not counted in GPA). If you don’t get the grade, there’s no record of you taking the test and you can take whatever Calc class you like at IU or elsewhere. Without studying at all (stupid) and having only taken Calc AP (A-only) in high school, I got an 80 on the test. Since that wasn’t high enough and I didn’t want to waste time in my IU schedule with a Calc class, I took calc online at CC over the summer for transfer credit.

From what you’ve said, it’s likely you could cram a bit before the exam at the end of Fall and test out. You can always register for calc for the spring semester, take the test and drop the class off your schedule if you score high enough. They let you know your score over winter break well before the spring semester even starts.

or

You could take Calc in summer school or online BEFORE you come to IU.
