help with a major!

I worked at a patent law firm for a few months - every attorney there had an engineering degree and about half had a few years of working as an engineer before attending law school. (Disclaimer: I have little personal interest in patent law and haven’t done research and thus don’t know if this is typical)

Any major is fine for law school - just make sure you’re developing your critical thinking and analytical writing/public speaking skills. I’m convinced a religion major is excellent (nope, I’m not biased or continually trying to justify my major choice to my parents) because it’s the study of a set of ideas and how they function off-paper, in the real world. (Another Disclaimer: I have not attended law school yet, or even applied, this is just a compilation of various advice I have received)
