I respect your opinion, but based on her list and acceptances, my opinion still stands. USNWR is considered the gold standard for US college rankings by many.
Have you looked at the methodology ? How schools ping ponged up and down this year - so schools like Tulane and WUSTL dropping. Vandy whining etc. same schools. Gold std decided to cause controversy to sell more magazines.
Have you looked at majors ? Rank isn’t just college.
Do you think higher rank necessarily means higher salary or better outcomes ?
It’s fine - but in this case I disagree. They are not the same experience but CS wise they are equivalent.
Like I said, I respect and understand your opinion. She has some high ranking acceptances that I think will put her in a strong position in the future. She stated that she could afford all of them. As far as your beliefs on USNWR, you are entitled to your opinion, however, they are currently the leader in the college ranking arena and their opinions carry some weight.
