<p>Hey, I’m from Florida and I know exactly what you mean about the whole “no one knows it” thing. When I got in, NO ONE knew anything about it. Most people were thinking of Northwestern.</p>
<p>Yet as soon as I decided to go, most adults (not my friends) knew at least one person who went there. My chemistry teacher’s daughter went there, my history teacher’s got a masters there, my mom’s friend from work graduated with honors from there… It’s actually really surprising how many people DO know of it. And I promise you that the moment you come to Boston, everyone knows of Northeastern.</p>
<p>I don’t know much about NYU and UUIC, but I do know NYU’s business program is pretty highly ranked. So if you REALLY are focused on prestige (which is really just up to your preference), then NYU might be worth it.</p>
