<p>This might be exactly what you’re talking about, but just for the record know that Yale gives NO merit-based scholarships. All scholarships are TOTALLY based on demonstrated need.</p>
<p>Giving someone chances has always been kind of silly, but also know that admissions for international students is generally considered harder than admissions for domestic students. That being said, I would call your pure numbers weak for a domestic student.</p>
