Did they fill out FAFSA/CSS right? Can you help check? With Notre Dame meeting full need and their efc being low finances should not be a problem. There may have been a miscalculation though. And it’s always possible to ask Notre Dame for professional judgment based on information not provided, or explaining the student may not be able to come because he can’t afford Transportation, can they review the financial aid package. He has to hurry though (request by end of week so they can make a decision and new offer by April 30).
