<p>Yes, you should qualify economically, but bear in mind there are some other requirements as well so the economic side is not a guarantee of admission to any specific college or university participating in the program… The best source of information on how to apply under HEOP is your guidance counselor, so be sure you have talked with him. Also, just at tip: at some schools there are slightly different requirements for applying for financial aid if you’re applying as a HEOP applicant, so be sure you check out those differences as well and pay attention to all deadlines for getting your financial aid paperwork in to the individual colleges.
