<p>The not hurting others part is the problem when you keep getting alimony because you are not married but you have commitment ceremonies instead.</p>
<p>Why is it wrong to keep getting alimony earned from years of marriage while also wanting to celebrate a new relationship? If the ex wants to petition the court to end the alimony, it’s up to the ex. If the couple desires at the time of the split to put conditions on the duration of the alimony, that’s fine too. Personally have not any experiences with these events but see nothing wrong with them at all.</p>
