High Blood Pressure at the Doctor's Office

I always text my BSN-RN daughter my BP since she gets a kick out of it. I’m usually about 90-100/60 in the doctor’s office, give or take a few. I was 85/61 at my last dentist visit with the wrist cuff.

My husband has always skewed high at the same dentist - to the point they urged him to see our family doctor. He did, they took the BP there and it was fine. The doctor said to ignore anything he hears at the dentist office lol.

I don’t know if it is the same dye, but after the tech couldn’t get the needle in my arm, they gave me the dye to drink. You might ask them if that’s available.

At my eye appt yesterday, my BP was 115/65, but she took it again because my pulse was high! I do have a fast pulse and the cardiologist is fine with it, said some people are just high. Can’t make these people happy.

Good news, no blood draw yesterday. I just started this study and there are different things required at different appointments. Bad news, my eyes ACHED for hours after the injections, and I finally went to bed at 7 pm because I couldn’t take it any more. I’d rather have the bruises from a blood draw.
