<p>When I went to Oxford, heat was considered a luxury good. I have many happy memories of studying in the Radcliffe camera, wearing those gloves with the fingertips cut off so that I could still turn pages, and being able to see your breath when you went downstairs to the bathrooms, nipping out for a cup of tea before returning to the libraries. </p>
<p>I disagree with the assertion that a little struggle is a bad thing. That which does not kill you makes you stronger!</p>
