Thank goodness, the new SAT sounds like bs.

from what i understand the SAT is going to be easier

So, is the SAT somewhat being formatted to seem more like the ACT or…?

From what I read yes. I also think they dumbed it down because more people took the ACT then the SAT last year. Something along the lines of that.

It does seem like it’s going to be easier, but it also seems a lot more annoying. Supporting answers with in-text quotations…? Ugh. Standardized tests will always be standardized tests…I’m still convinced that this is just a ploy to get more money.

This just makes me want to get a 2400 more. Being one of the last 2400s issued would be neat.

wow, two of my friends/classmates were offered amazing scholarships today… one was offered a full ride to duke and the other the morehead-cain scholarship to unc!

@loltired - Good for them! Are they seniors?

@loltired: if I it was one of Duke’s merit scholarships, would you mind PMing me his/her stats?

So I kind of had a falling out with my AP Cal tutor.

Thank FSM for Khan Academy, amirite

Ugh I’m really stressed out with AP World. My teacher is really inconsistent when it comes to the work load he gives us. He gave us a month for one chapter in the textbook, but this week he only gave us a week for 5 chapters. I’m a huge procrastinator and the test is on Tuesday and I haven’t started yet. I just find this period of history really boring and I don’t want to trudge through it.

@Bardinators - Same…40 class days until the exam. We’re still on the French Rev.

French Revolution? Ouch. We did that back around January/February, and we still had 9 or 10 snow days

My class just got done with the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution. Our test was on Tuesday.

I’m too lazy to start AP gov review. How long do you all think is a reasonable amount of time to review?

So I just looked over the RSI application (can’t apply this year; going to next year) just to see what types of stuff show up on the app, and it was disheartening. They want you to include a 1-2 page attachment of awards/accomplishments, but I haven’t won anything noteworthy yet. I planned to do most of my award winning junior year. :/

We are on World War I/transition between the world wars. Apparently, we are behind though.

We’re currently doing the Haitian Revolution/Latin American Revolutions through Neo-Imperialism
