High school class of 2016

Going to be staying up all night to finish my Extended Essay that I’ve barely started. Why do I never learn not to procrastinate like this?

I’m done applying to college y’all

@letmeseetheworld <:-P Banzai!!

My word count for this essay is literally decreasing because everything I wrote is awful.

23 minutes into the 2nd semester and I struggle not trying to bash my head against the desk…

This gon’ be good

Goood morning world… 6:15 AM T-T

Lol, when you’re going blind and your chemistry teacher decides to make a new seating arrangement, moving you to the back.

I liked my front row seat. :frowning:

Just found out Catholic U offers half of students full need. I’m so happy, I’m low-income so I think I have a good chance!

@newjersergirl98 I applied to so many schools that meet 100% of every student’s need.

@LegendarySims I could never get accepted to those schools. :frowning:
There’s one less selective school in Kentucky for low-income students, but I don’t think I could survive in a rural area.

@newjerseygirl98 Aw, you never know! I don’t even think I have a good chance at any of those schools, but I applied because you never know and it doesn’t hurt to apply. Plus, they were all on the commonapp, so I didn’t have to do much work.
I feel the same way. I’m a city girl, it would be a huge adjustment if I were to go to a college in a rural area.

  1. Everyone's profile photos have really messed with my mental image of you guys - I have no idea what to think anymore :P
  2. Out of curiosity, if you take an AP exam for an AP course, do you only take one exam?

@QuirkyClarkie

There’s a multiple choice section and a free response section. Unless you’re talking AP Physics C, which is actually 2 full tests.

@QuirkyClarkie clarify #2, please.

I’m so unmotivated this semester and it’s only the first day. I wish IB let you graduate early.

@XoXdreamerXoX Sorry about the confusing wording! I was just wondering how many exams you have to take per AP class. For example, in IB you generally have 2 exams per SL class and 3 exams per HL class. As a result, I have the pleasure of taking 14 exams in May.

@AMan236 Thanks for the answer! I know the question was super random.

@QuirkyClarkie If you take AP Biology for example, you have to take only 1 exam but the exam has 2 parts: written and multiple choice. So you finish it in one sitting unless you have multiple ap courses.

EDIT::Unless its one of those weird classes like AP physics C that has 2 tests

@ErenYeager @XoXdreamerXoX if you want to be a CC mom/parent, be sure to be to have a username that’s oddly specific about your location/hobbies/children, like the parents here on CC

Examples include:

SouthEastAsianMom
SlaveDrivermom
MyKid>Yourkid
momof17kidsandcounting

I created a dummy account with the username “DadofKoopaKids” and my profile picture was bowser.
The possibilities are endless

Since she has a picture of Emma Waston, she wants to apply and attend Brown University. @AtharvaLarva

@AtharvaLarva I think Mykid>Yourkid would be my mom. :))
