<p>When you say “admissions” do you mean to IUB and/or to Kelley school of business? They are two very separate processes/requirements.</p>
<p>You are probably a lock to get accepted to IUB. Your SAT is probably easily in the top 5%. That your school does not weight gpa may hurt you for scholarships that are administered by the Office of Admissions. No one can say how the office of admissions will “interpret” your gpa for admissions (you are a lock to get in anyway) and awarding of scholarships (you will be competing with hundreds of students with 4.0+ gpa’s written on their applications, which probably will not help you). The admissions office converts all gpa’s to the 4-point scale; but your’s has won’t need converting; it just isn’t weighted. Your school is not doing you and your classmates any favors by not weighting gpas, since you will constantly be competing for admission and scholarships to many universities against students whose schools do weight gpa’s.

<p>Kelley requires 3.7 gpa and 1270 SAT or 30 ACT. You won’t be admitted automatically to Kelley; you will have to petition after you have been accepted to IUB. Apply early to IUB (in August 2014), and petition to Kelley soon after receiving word of admission to IUB. The earlier you get accepted to IUB and petition Kelley for direct admission to the business school, the more likely your petition will be accepted. If accepted, this will make you a direct admit, and make you eligible for scholarships eligible to Kelley direct admits.</p>
<p>Be sure to declare yourself a business major on the IUB application; otherwise, the admissions office will not send any of your information to Kelley. </p>
