Higher than expected acceptance rate?

<p>Looking back at last year’s results thread, it looked to me that close to 50% of applicants on CC got accepted, about 40% deferred, and a handful rejected. I know there is a larger pool this year, but do you think it will be significantly different?</p>

<p>Also, do you think it is because accepted students are more likely to post their results than deferred/rejected ones?</p>

<p>Hopefully the ‘pledge to report your decision’ topic will reduce the difference in likelihood a bit</p>

<p>Traditionally CC has a much higher acceptance rate because it is a highly self-selective sample. </p>

<p>This year’s decision thread promises to be a treasure for all future applicants. 103 decisions and counting! Truly epic.</p>

<p>I have a feeling that a great deal of people who pledged to report might not…simply because in the past a lot of people haven’t reported decisions. but maybe not.</p>
