I loved Tootsie when it just came out. When we watched it recently, it just was not the same. Lost in Translation was pretty boring to me, so I fell asleep (which rarely happens when we watch movies).

My favorite foreign movies of all times are Red and Blue of the Three Colors trilogy.

embarrassing, but I’ve seen all these movies. I tried to watch 49 steps with son, and the fake backdrops got to him. He commented, when watching The Graduate, that they played the same music over and over. I think this list should be redone. I still treasure To Kill a Mockingbird and Godfather, 2. Oh yes Dr Zhivago; that Julie Christie & young Omar Sharif–wow. Grace Kelly movies, still like. But just because these movies are part of my past, does not mean they are my favorite movies.

The movies on the AFI list that I didn’t like were Forrest Gump and The Unforgiven. Gump was overly sentimental and I just can hardly stomach Clint Eastwood.

Brüno is by far the best movie that I have ever laid my eyes on . However I have a terrible sense of humor . I personally thought that Non-stop was terrible totally wasted $12 on it .

D & I just saw Maleficent. Mostly because thats what was playing when we finished dinner.
Then she wanted to switch theatres and see something else after about 40 minutes.
( but we didnt)
Im not sure what I was expecting. It was pretty dark and not very satisfying.
I like Angelina Jolie, but wasnt impressed by the casting.
The preview for the James Brown movie that opens in August looked good though.
