Look at the schools that have a good variety inside your area of interests in case you change your mind. Visit the campus of the schools that meet your criteria to see if you are comfortable there. Apply and see where you get in. For undergrad the upper and mid tier UC’s will take you where you want to go. (grad school) When researching grad schools then you should pay lots of attention to this ranking stuff. Also don’t go undergrad where you want to go to grad school in the UC system. Most UC’s frown on going to the same grad school where you went for undergrad.</p>
