Yes, my kids loved Buckeyball magnets!

“We will be moving into a new home mid-December, so I’m trying to get ahead of the holiday shopping/baking before my packing starts in earnest” - Sounds like good planning. But if you get too busy to do your normal holiday gig, know that your family will understand. It’s easier now that they don’t believe in Santa ;)

Small stuff that’s well-received: nice spices and/or spice blends (check out Penzey’s for some nice ones); fancy soaps; travel sizes of anything useful; sewing kit with threaded needles; rolls of quarters, dimes, etc. (for tolls and laundromats); amazon gift cards (I’ll note that Coinstar coin-counting machines have an amazon gift card option); chocolates; retractable tape measure; small scissors; nail clipper; packets of clothes detergent for traveling; hand wipes in foil packages; nail polish; travel aspirin (ibuprofen); etc.

Spice rubs for grilling would fit nicely into a stocking.
