I can’t help but think that money must have been a factor. Who knows if he made very generous donations? Aren’t children of rich and famous people referred to as development cases or something like that?

Why wouldn’t we be happy for her? I don’t understand your question. There’s nothing to suggest she isn’t a smart, deserving student. Her parents are clearly quite smart and it’s a family that emphasizes education. And she’s NOT a legacy at Harvard - as her parents attended Harvard Law, not u-grad.

I think the OP is really the only one who is “picking” on his kids. None of the reply posts seem to think there’s anything terribly wrong with the fact that his kids went to Penn.

Donald Trump attended Fordham University in New York for two years, and then transferred to Penn. Back when he was applying, Penn was much less selective than they are now.
