<p>lol lots… uh, Cornell + Johns Hopkins + USC are the only three other schools I care about. I dont really care too much about my other schools. lol Do you think any of these three are easier than NYU or NU?? lol T.T</p>
<p>USC is probably a bit easier than both to get into, though it’s about on par with NYU in terms of academics.</p>
<p>NYU is a strange animal, both because of its many unconventional specialty schools and because of the selectivity boost it receives as a result of its location. It attracts droves of applicants in the “not-quite-strong-enough-for-top-20” range and, as a result, is more selective than its actual quality would suggest. When you look at the numbers of enrolling students at NYU, however, you see that it’s a step down from Cornell, NU, Hopkins, and the like. Then again, a lot of people I know who went to top-10 range schools were rejected by NYU, so what do I know? </p>
<p>Cornell and Johns Hopkins are in the same ballpark as Northwestern (and UChicago, WUSTL, etc.).</p>
