<p>The only thing I don’t like about the Prius is the horizontal “line” you get in the back window, from the spoiler or trim piece that is on the back window. I’m sure you get used to it in time.</p>
<p>jshain, yes you get used to it. I didn’t like that either but was amazed at how quickly I didn’t notice it. In fact, I had to think for a minute about what you were referring to.</p>
<p>The EPA ratings are for comparison purposes. I am not surprised if people are not actually getting the numbers claimed in the tests assuming their cars are not otherwise defective.</p>
<p>My wife is getting 37.6 MPG on her brand new one-week-old Honda Hybrid battery. That’s about what we got when the car first got purchased new. Not very impressive for a hybrid vehicle with a 1300cc engine.</p>
