Hi Gibson - thanks for the link. My student has test scores higher than the averages listed for FF, Ramsey and Honors. We figure the recalculated UGA GPA is the issue. School student attends is small and doesn’t offer many APs and most cannot be taken before senior year. So although student took all honors and the 1 AP possible before senior year, the applicants auto-admitted likely had more APs, and therefore, higher recalculated GPAs. Student is taking the maximum number of APs possible in senior year and was accepted into several other Honors Colleges/Programs at the other EA schools applied to. Really liked UGA, though, so is working on Honors application and is hoping that mid-year grades will be factored in and will get a favorable decision. We agree, it is definitely worth the work involved. Thanks for the encouragement and Happy New Year to you and yours!
