<p>That’s a good question. I would ask LSU. </p>
<p>My guess is they only look at core classes- math, science, history, English, etc. I highly doubt they’ll care about that A in PE. They might also weigh AP and honors classes.</p>
<p>Will the admissions staff tell you your LSU GPA? I’d be rather curious to know mine.</p>
<p>The thing is, my school doesn’t weight GPA as a rule, but offers all its classes on the college level. I have taken things like Physics III, Calculus II, World War II History, and Modern Presidential Politics that would be AP classes at most schools. If these classes were weighted, it might be possible I could have a 4.0 weighted and qualify for another $1000/more a year in merit.</p>
