ASU charges an extra ~$2k/yr to be in their honors college. Univ of Arizona is an extra $1200/yr.
There’s a lot of variety on this so you have to look it up at the specific college you’re interested in.

Great insight, thank you for sharing.
At Colorado State, the Honors tour was an additional event that you set up separately. It was a great way to do it as the director of the program was there so you could ask very specific questions.
At CSU, there is no additional fee. In fact, you receive an additional $1000 in merit and an additional one time stipend for travel or research.
Clemson charges $1000 a year, my daughter says it’s worth it, LLC’s are also $1000 a year. UDel is free.
Currently, no additional fees for honors/scholars at Ohio State. Frequently Asked Questions | Honors and Scholars Center
My oldest will be a junior and has found the experience totally worth it, so much so that my younger daughter will join her as a freshman in the fall. She has had a paid research fellowship each fall term, one of which led to a co-authorship for a publication last year. She loves that the honors courses are really small, with about 15-ish students. The college has a staff member dedicated to helping students find and apply for national scholarships, such as a Fulbright or NSF graduate research program, and the dean and associate dean provide really personalized advising, internship, and career counseling. The early registration perk has been great, but the housing has been even better. The campus is feeling the same housing crunch as many other institutions, and even as juniors, she and her roommates were assigned a suite in the honors dorm next year. Their program does not have an additional fee but students do earn a $2,000 scholarship.
