<p>The differences are negligible. Wisconsin is probably a lot cheaper for you, and even though your family can afford Michigan, I would say use the savings for a down payment on a house or other investment. </p>
<p>One thing to consider though…if your family lives really close to Madison and it wouldn’t feel like you’re “going away” to college, and because your family can afford it, I would encourage you to spread your wings a bit and go further from home. But if Madison will allow you to live in the dorms and not feel like you’re so close you have to go home every weekend, I’d say Madison is perfect.</p>
