<p>I hate to divulge my special places in NYC, but I am so sympathetic to the strain of expenses these auditions cause. We consistently get good rates at The Milford Plaza on W. 48th. You must request a renovated room or you will get stuck in the old, moldy ones. However at this point, they may all be renovated. Right now there is a winter special rate for Jan and Feb of around $150 a night. Rooms are a very nice size and you can get a king or two doubles. Location couldn’t be better. If you have a long lead time, book Radio City Apts across from Radio City. They have studio, one and two bedroom apts with kitchenettes all under $200 (except for the two bdr.) I have been travelling to NYC for many years on a tight budget and these are the best rates I have found for the quality.</p>
