<p>But basically, apart from International House (no parking) and the Ramada Inn, Hyde Park lacks hotels. (There are a few B&Bs, too.) It’s a real problem for the university, and local residents recently blocked development of a first-class hotel there. People who are visiting the University generally stay in the Loop and take the #6 bus down. Look for hotels on or between State and Michigan, north of Columbus (which is where the 6 goes express to HP).</p>
