Oops! I posted some misinformation in post #7!

Two years ago when I attended with my daughter, Parkside was the on-campus parent option. I am guessing the parents were less than thrilled with the very basic accomodations and the NO air conditioning and so USC made some adjustments.

The “dorm” accomodations for perents are now in the Radission directly across the street from USC. This is not the regular “hotel” portion of the Radission, but rooms on the floors used as USC dorms - so they are a bit shabby (okay… more that a “bit”) but they DO have air conditioning, which for the summer orientations really does make things more pleasant. The rooms are somewhat less expensive than the regular Radission rate: [Welcome to the USC Orientation Programs Website](http://sait.usc.edu/orientation/travel/overnight.shtml) The session fee, including two nights at the Radission (dorm portion) and parent orientation fee, would be $260/person. Remember - these are DORMS, so you would arrive to find your linens piled on the beds just like the students do. If you want the “hotel” rooms at the Radission, make those arrangements through STA, not the orientation website.

I am so sorry for the mis-information!
