Hours week spent on school

The question is for time spent outside of school, non EC, doing school related stuff. How can you spend more than 10 hours a week. Thats 2 hrs a night, how much busy work do your teachers give you?

No busy work… just essays, labs, and commentaries. Apart from math problems virtually all my assignments involve at least two pages of writing. It’s not something you can crank out in twenty minutes.

how^^^? what classes?

As they go in order
English 4 hon- gives the most hw, essays and reading. I am a slow reader but I can write fast.
Prob/Stats hon – really easy class, the kids in there dont get stats, and he isnt big on hw.
AP physics B- 2 periods, I get physics and we have a lot of time. I go down there last period some days to do the hw so I dont do anything at home.
AP calc Ab = taught like a BC course but doesnt teach sequences, I do my hw in the class because I dont listen good
AP CS AB = sort of an independent study. We are almost done with the course and we dont have to do hw at home.
independent technology study - go around and fix computers, help teachers out. Basically time to wander the building.

I have basically always done my hw in school, either during the class, instead of listening or taking notes, or during the next class. This year I bring a book home maybe once every 2 weeks.

The_Who,

This is my course list for 11th and 12th grade:

IB Chemistry HL
Otherwise known as “the hardest class the school offers”. The workload is obscene (labs, essays, worksheets), but it’s an amazing class.
IB English A1 HL
Mostly essays, including but not limited to weekly passage commentaries. Reading, obviously. Orals too, apparently, but we’re not there yet.
IB French A1 HL
All the fun of English HL, but in French.
IB Biology SL
Labs and reading.
IB Math Methods SL
Problem sets due every class.
IB History SL
Essays, some worksheets, and lots of reading.
Journalism
Articles and layout weekends. I spent 8 hours at school this past Saturday, laying out the paper.
Theory of Knowledge
Not much work yet, but we’ll be doing orals soon, and apparently essays.

It adds up. Trust me.

i love skewing the result
