Housing assignment: which view will I have?

@EACullen11: Same as what shiningstar91 said pretty much. Yeah, that’s going to be a triple and it will be the same view. South campus and the turnpike and other Boston-ish things. Not too great, but hey it’s not the view of the other tower either (which sucks)

Bumping this thread.

Does 1617B have those cinderblock walls (the boxes you see in the housing picture)? Do all dorms in Warren tower look the same from top to bottom?

Which rooms have views of the river from Warren tower? Having a tower c view is srs turn off…

Thatanos, I was in 1417B and I had a nice view of the river. You’re 2 floors higher so that’s even better. When you’re sitting at your desk and look out of the window over your shoulder, the view is pretty good. If you choose the desk on the left, you’ll see the river and Comm Ave. If you’re on the right side of the room, you’ll see Brookline with lots of nice greenery. The C tower view isn’t as bad as it sounds.

All rooms are the same (except corner rooms) and they have boxy cinderblock walls, scotch tape doesn’t stick well if you’re thinking about posters etc.

I remember a picture that you put up to show your view and it showed a bunch of windows. Thanks for the assurance that I can still see the river.

Yes, if you stand in the center of the room and look straight ahead you’ll see nothing but the other tower.

http://i.imgur.com/SqF1d.jpg</a> This is a view of Brookline from the right side of the room. Excuse the crappiness, I took it with my cellphone during an epic rainstorm. You can’t tell from the picture but there’s a lot of trees and it’s a really nice view. No C tower in sight (and the photo isn’t cropped).

That’s a very nice view! O.O

It’s all yours now, enjoy hahah!

That was my room last year!!! Enjoy the view of B tower haha. You’re the room closest to the bathroom.

Also, nobody calls any of the dorms Shields or Fairfield or whatever the last one is. I don’t even know which is which. Just A, B or C.

Hah that’s cool.

what about 1710A warren

this is a C tower view of Warren Towers not facing B Tower

I got put into 0718b (marshall warren towers)…what will my view be like?

What kind of view do rooms ending in 23 in warren B tower have?

Terrier16, a very good view! 23 is in the corner, so you’ll see CAS, Commonwealth avenue and the river. However, it is a standard-size room, not one of the big corner doubles; those are at the other end of the hall.

Awesome, thanks so much!

How about Rich Hall on west campus rm 1318? Thanks!

I’ve got Rich Hall 1012, anyone know which direction that faces? Thanks!
