<p>It’s no surprise that the higher level classes will be more difficult to register for as a freshman because upperclassmen choose their classes before the incoming freshman’s PittStart. It’s mostly frosh that take intro classes like Gen Chem 1 so of course those classes won’t be filled until the freshman register. If you’re talking about classes that aren’t really intro courses there won’t be spaces reserved for PittStart kids. I would imagine it’s really hard to get a good spot in ochem or something like that as an incoming freshman. </p>
