<p>Sorry for the delay in replying, as I was in class all day!</p>
<p>My roommate and I did end up talking to the fellows upstairs. We live in an apartment complex owned by the school, so we have 2 RAs for the entire building. Apparently the two people upstairs didn’t realize the walls were so thin that we could hear them talking. They promised to be quiet and one of them even gave me his cellphone number in case they started to get noisy again, which was nice.</p>
<p>We were pretty polite in asking and they were very understanding as well. They ended up being really quiet last night, which was so nice for a change. Let’s see if they can keep up the good work tonight as well.</p>
<p>As for the whole RA not doing anything: our other RA explained that they’d have to write up a whole noise violation report and I guess its like a bad mark on the offenders; so the RAs wanted us to make sure to exhaust all our means first before they intervene and have to make things worse.</p>
