Housing woes...loud/inconsiderate people involved

Crownofthesea I am glad it worked out for you and that is what is ultimately important but I strongly disagree with the RA telling you " that they’d have to write up a whole noise violation report and I guess its like a bad mark on the offenders; so the RAs wanted us to make sure to exhaust all our means first before they intervene and have to make things worse. " because had they informed everyone about the quiet hours and such (you said that they didn’t) then all they had to do is talk to everyone not pointing anyone out and say sorry but did forget to say that quiet hours are :so and so. In my opinion that was a cop out by the RA’s. Not everything has to be written up when it is a lack information given and a little common sense can be used.

My D’s situation has gotten quite good actually, she has 41 students 15 of whom are transfer students , 5 freshman and the rest are regulars. She had a note slid under door on Wednesday saying " you don’t know me but I think you are cool and I already feel that I can count on you. I know we will be friends soon" they put their initial on the page so my D knows who it is.
I think being an RA will a fantastic experience for her.
