<p>I went from grad school at UCSB to Biz school at UofC. I’m still suffering from shock 25 years later. :)</p>
<p>Things are definitely looking up compared to then, at UofC. You should have seen the crowd at graduation last week. It is amazing what a shower, clean hair (and maybe the presence of parents?) does to the look of the students!</p>
<p>I think a previous poster hit it on the head. The potential is there, the desire no. I even know of one recent UofC grad who was frustrated traveling in Spain with two fellow grad students last december, who told me, in frustration, that her travel buddies “spent too much time on their personal appearance in the morning…” I think that sums up the UofC attitude. </p>
<p>So guys, the solution? Book someplace nice for that date…not the pub.</p>
